The Dub Pistols will be featured every night this week (Oct 1st-7th) on ‘Album de le Semaine’ on France’s Canal Plus TV Channel. The show are broadcasting exclusive live footage of a different album track from the bands acclaimed album ‘Speakers & Tweeters each evening at 6.05pm and showing the live performance in its entirety later in the week. Celebrating Sunday Best's landmark 50th release and in the shops for the 10th September, the latest single to be drawn from the critically aclaimed Dub Pistols album, Speakers & Tweeters, is a high-octane reworking of the Strangler's classic anthem 'Peaches'. Originally released 30 years ago, 'Peaches' was the Stranglers breakthrough hit, reaching number 8 in the UK charts and etching itself into the collective psyche of beach-bums across the globe.
Fronted by UK Hip-Hop architect, Rodney P, who adds his own inimitable slant to the track's subject matter, the Dub Pistols have given 'Peaches' iconic bass line a new lease of life, as erstwhile Specials front-man Terry Hall's unique vocals colour the chorus.
The single is available on 7", 12" and various digital bundles, boasting a massive amount of amazing mixes. Remixers inlude Utah Saints, A1 People, MYNC Project, Dogtown Clash, Ortzroka, Fear of Theydon, King Kooba, Merka and finally Dub Pistols themselves... and breathe... ahhhhh!

DUB PISTOLS AT V FEST AND SECRET GARDEN
The Dub Pistols will be playing three gigs with special guests Terry Hall and Rodney P (V Fest only) over the weekend of August 19th/20th, On Saturday 19th August at 5.30pm Dub Pistols play live in the Strongbow Tent at V Fest Chelmsford, on Sunday 20th at 2.00pm Dub Pistols play live in the Strongbow Tent at V Fest Stafford and then move on to The Secret Garden festival in Cambridge which they headline at 11.00pm.Friday, July 28, 2006

Dub Pistols' Barry Ashworth has recorded a 1 hour mix that will be broadcast this Saturday 29th of July on Ministry Radio at 2am. The Dub Pistols remake of 'Peaches' featuring Rodney P and Terry Hall will be featured on the soundtrack to the Dirty Sanchez movie due out in September as the title music, Dirty Sanchez are Wales' answer to Jack Ass, but be warned this movie is sick and disturbing........and fantastic.
