CITY HI-FI RECORDING WITH BLING DAWG 

Bling DawgBling Dawg (pictured) has been in Gee Jam's Studio recording vocals with City Hi-Fi as part of the ongoing recording project taking place in Jamaica. The track based on City Hi-Fi "Obeah" rhythm is entitled "Ole" and will be previewed on cityhifi.net in the near future. More news to follow....

CITY HI-FI LINKS WITH WARD 21 

Ward 21City Hi-Fi is locked down in Gee Jam Studios working on tracks with Jamaica's criminaly insane Ward 21. The hook up has already produced a monster cut entitled "Yes Rude Boy', which at 117bpm looks set to not only rip up the sound systems of Jamaica but also Clubs around the world. Exclusive footage of the recording session will be posted shortly on our Video page. Watch this space for news on other City Hi-Fi collaborations currently taking place in Jamaica. CITY HI-FI RECORDING IN JAMAICA 

JamaicaCity Hi-Fi is currently in Jamaica working on various high profile collaborations for a groundbreaking album that will feature the hottest Jamaican Vocalists alongside some of the World's most cutting edge producers of modern music. The recording sessions are taking place at Jon Baker's idyllic Gee Jam studios in the Parish of Portland just outside Port Antonio. Other producers contributing to the project include The Chemical Brothers and Roni Size. More news and video footage will follow shortly.

CITY HI-FI DEBUT RELEASE TAKING SHAPE 

Tenza FosterCity Hi-Fi's debut release is currently being recorded for Othman Mukhlis' Jamdown label. The release will feature versions on City Hi-Fi's Sergeant Street Rhythm, already emerging as a strong contender for the A side is Vigilante's 'Mr Hotstyle' although Fya's Tenza Foster signed to Def Jam (pictured) recorded her contribution to the release today, a blazing version on the Rhythm entitled 'Chick a Boo'. The third track on the release should feature vocals from Swell Dog and also promises to be a killer. In the near future video outakes of these recording sessions will be premiered on City Hi-Fi's Video Page.

DUB PISTOLS RELEASE DATES 

Horace AndyHot off the Distinctive Records press here are the forthcoming Dub Pistols release dates. On the 16th of February Distinctive will be putting out a limited release of the killer Touche (wiseguys) mixes of 'Soul Shaking', this will be followed with the full 'official' release of the Dub Pistols single 'World gone Crazy' featuring vocals by Horace Andy and with new mixes from the Dub Pistols, MJ Cole and West London Deep. The Touche and MJ Cole mixes will be previewed on City Hi-Fi soon but if you cant wait that long check out the Touche remix on the Distinctive site.
