NEW MEDIA COMING SOON TO CITY HI-FI.NET

Jason and BarryCity Hi-Fi.net has recently obtained over 100 exclusive pictures of the Dub Pistols for our photo page taken by band member Johnny Rockstar who rather foolishly didn't censor what was available, as well as great Dub Pistols moments we also have some rather explicit pictures of Johny's girlfriend on the beach which will be available soon for a small fee. Some great lost live recordings of the Dub Pistols have also been discovered which are well worth a listen and these will be added to the audio page shortly. Stay tuned...

DUB PISTOLS FEAT HORACE ANDY RELEASE READY TO GO

Horace AndyJason O'Bryan has just finished work mixing the Dub Pistol's remix of the track 'Crazy' featuring Horace Andy (pictured) which is scheduled for release as the Pistols next single. The Dub Pistol's now have three very different mixes of this track, all worth a listen. The (unheard) original mix is very much a dub affair in the Black Ark / Lee Perry tradition and will hopefully get a place on the release, The second mix (as appears on the current album) has more of a 80's dancehall flavour and the third (the single) mix bizarrely enough takes on a slightly balaeric feel.

DJ Touche RemixThe remix of The Dub Pistol's 'Soul Shaking' by DJ Touche (Of the Wiseguys) will be available in selected shops on limited edition (vinyl only) from the 16th of February 2004. The mix is absolutely kicking and undoubtedly the best remix of a Dub Pistol's tune in my memory, which should come as no surprise given Touche's track record. The package features the full Vocal mix and also the Instrumental on the B side and will no doubt become highly collectible in the near future.
